A Morning of Music
Seattle - Saturday,
Know anybody who's been feeling overwhelmed lately?
Disillusioned or frustrated about life? Well, hop on the bus
my friends. There's a whole gang of us. I'm drivin' with one
hand and strummin' a guitar with the other, so come on
This April I'm beginning a series of informal gatherings
where we can come together to share ways we can get through
this time in our lives with some gratitude and good will and
even a sense of peace in our hearts. It's a mission worth
some effort, I think. The changes on our planet, in our
society and throughout the world, are great and confusing.
But we wouldn't be here if we weren't the right people for
will open with a song or two and then let the conversation
flow. You may feel like adding your thoughts to the
discussion, or you may be in a mood to simply sit and take
it all in. Either way, you are welcome to be there. My only
request is that you hold good will and love as your
intention. When our conversation comes to a conclusion,
we'll do a group meditation, holding a quiet space of
breathing and peaceful intention.
I've rented a pleasant room at a local venue that can hold
fifteen or twenty people comfortably. It's at a very
well-maintained community center in the Seattle neighborhood
of Ravenna. It's just off of NE 65th Street, just a block or
so from the Herbalist. I'll send you directions when I send
you your ticket.
You don't need anything but yourself and a big heart full of
good will - or a desire to find yours again. I hope you'll
come and join us.
Your friend in breezy Seattle,
